Me in 5 years OR : The Captain Is Out to Lunch and the Sailors Have Taken over the Ship

This is it. My agent just called and said my second novel is gonna be published within a few days. This is kinda cool, isn't it? I mean, he said that this one can be a novel of the year, just like my first one, but I think it is too short and he's just too excited to see the name of his publishing house in the newspapers. I just hope it won't be turned into a movie like my 'Too late, Mrs. Luck'. People dig it, but I think the director haven't even read the book. Anyway, my grief over the movie ended as soon as I had gotten the paycheck, which I turned into a nice 'ocean view'. Now, as I finished my book I can sit all day long and relax. Well, I know it won't be long till I write something again, but now I can fully enjoy spending time with my lovely wife. I'm happy. And why shouldn't I? As one guy once said, 'I never knew a writer's wife who wasn't beautiful'. Helluva wisdom that guy had, that is for sure.
